Finding Icons

Where to Find Extra Icons?

ClassMap doesn't currently have a big library of icons, but here's a way to find any icon that you like and upload it into your account:

1. Go to https://www.flaticon.com/ or any other icon site (you can use Google images too).
2. Search for the icon that you like.
3. Use your computers screenshot tool:
   1. For Windows, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots-00246869-1843-655f-f220-97299b865f6b
   2. For Macs, see https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/take-a-screenshot-or-screen-recording-mh26782/mac
4. Don't capture the whole screen, instead Capture a portion of the screen.
   

   

5. Save your screenshot:
   1. For Windows, it'll ask you where to save the screenshot.
   2. For Mac, it will save it to your Desktop.
6. On ClassMap, click on the Image upload and find the Screenshot you just took.
7. Your icon is uploaded to your account and can now be used.
