Student Print Type (Text vs Grid)

Schedule Types are what ClassMap will use when generating your Printed schedules.

What types are available?

ClassMap offers you two types of schedules that can be generated for each of your students. You will need to make a selection for each student.

The two choices are:

  • Text List
  • Icon Grid

Text List

For those students who are reading and can identify the names on the station mats around the classroom, this is the schedule type for them.

ClassMap will display a list of the stations they need to go to using:

  • Station Names
  • Station color

Icon Grid

Some students need a visual to go along with the words or they need the picture to match it to the station mats around the classroom.

ClassMap will create a grid using the icons you uploaded for that station. If you did not upload an image, ClassMap will use the station color instead.

Can I change which schedule type to use?

Yes! You can change this at any time.

  1. Edit the student
  2. Change the Type of Schedule to use.

What if my student doesn’t need a text list or icon grid schedule?

After you’ve completed your master schedule, go to print, and only print the station mats with the matching icons.

If you have an idea for a different type of schedule, please reach out.
